Content & Partnerships Intern

Second Talent· Remote· Internship· Posted July 2026

  • Team: Content & Marketing
  • Type: Internship (Full-time or Part-time) — Remote / Hybrid
  • Duration: 3–6 months, with potential to convert to a full-time role

About the Role

As our Brand Partnerships & Outreach Intern, you will focus on building Second Talent's network of brand relationships. Your main job is to find, reach out to, and nurture partnerships with other brands, communities, creators, and organisations that share our audience. You'll run outreach end-to-end — from building target lists to pitching collaborations and helping campaigns come to life. It's an ideal role for a proactive relationship-builder who is comfortable starting conversations and closing partnerships. Content creation plays a supporting part — mostly the pitches, decks, and collateral that make outreach land.

What You'll Do

  • Research and build target lists of potential partner brands, communities, universities, creators, and complementary companies.
  • Own outreach end-to-end: write pitches, send cold and warm emails/DMs, follow up, and book intro calls.
  • Pitch and negotiate collaborations, co-marketing, cross-promotions, guest content, and event partnerships.
  • Build and maintain the partnerships pipeline — tracking every contact, conversation, and deal stage in the CRM.
  • Support the planning and execution of joint campaigns, webinars, and events from first contact to follow-up.
  • Create the supporting collateral outreach depends on — partnership decks, one-pagers, pitch emails, and briefs.
  • Track partnership performance and report on what's working, then double down on it.

What We're Looking For

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Confident, personable communicator who is genuinely comfortable reaching out to strangers and building relationships.
  • Persistent and organised — you can juggle many conversations and follow up without dropping the ball.
  • Strong written English for clear, persuasive pitches and outreach.
  • Comfortable with tools like Google Workspace, Notion, and a CRM (or willingness to learn).
  • Bonus: prior experience in sales, business development, community, or partnership outreach.

What You'll Gain

  • Hands-on experience owning a real brand-partnership pipeline end-to-end.
  • Business development and negotiation skills you can carry into any career.
  • Mentorship from an experienced brand and marketing team.
  • A track record of live partnerships and measurable results to show for it.
  • Exposure to a fast-growing, global remote-talent company.
